Fad Diets

The New Year is here and you are probably thinking you should stick with your New Year’s resolution of losing some weight. Here are a few things to remember with weight loss and dieting....there is no quick weight loss! Diet: Moderation and Variety. Don’t fall into the Fad diet trends of eliminating certain food groups. Just remember to think of all the colors of the rainbow when putting your plate together. Having a variety of colors (carrots, spinach, eggplant, corn) can ensure you are getting the proper nutrients in your diet. Just make sure you don’t go overboard with one item….moderation is key.
